Power Engineers, LLC recently won the Environmental Business Council (EBC) Nicholas Humbar Environmental – Energy Award for Outstanding Collaboration. This award was given to the team members for the recent design and construction of the latest submarine cable from Woods Hole (Falmouth) to Martha’s Vineyard. Power Engineers, LLC led the engineering team through the feasibility, permitting, design and construction phases to have installed a new combined electric and fiber-optic communications cable, 6 miles in length across Buzzards Bay to Martha’s Vineyard. The project was the first significant marine infrastructure project reviewed under the MA Ocean Management Plan.
